Ramsdens Solicitors tasked Fusion IT with implementing a solution that empowered their customers to provide transactional information in a more efficient way, without the requirement for ‘hand holding’.
The solution was to be implemented through a secure online portal, which could be managed by Ramsdens Solicitors via their existing case management system.
Approach
Fusion IT implemented a market-leading online portal, PortalPlex, which provided full functionality across all devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile.
The PortalPlex platform enabled Ramsdens’ clients to:
- Fill out vital legal forms with ease without having to repeat themselves should they have already provided certain details
- Digitally and securely sign documents with a transparent audit trail
- Provide proof of their ID without ever leaving their home
- Make payments for services they are using
- Share Messages and Documents
- View their progress in the transaction
The PortalPlex platform saves time through the avoidance of duplicated efforts, while delivering a transparent mechanism that promotes communication and collaboration between Ramsdens Solicitors and their clients.
Fusion IT is able to implement PortalPlex in a modular way, allowing customers to hand-pick the aspects they require to build a solution bespoke to their own challenges. The platform is in constant development to enable clients to continue to automate and speed up their processes.
Results
Lindsey Firth, head of conveyancing at Ramsdens Solicitors, says the solution has proved to be a major difference-maker for the business.
