We have recently been doing some work on integrating our Sage Line 50 with some internal systems, I had a problem where item lines on purchase orders, invoices / quotes would still be returned via ODBC even though they had been deleted in Sage. This is a bug in ODBC and can only be solved by compressing your sage data. There is a field RECORD_DELETED on most tables and this does even seem to flag, so unfortunately it’s impossible to distinguish from the rows that are returned via ODBC which items have been deleted. We can only hope that Sage will fix this in a later release?
