When would I send an email as an attachment?
There may be many occasions that you would want to send an email to someone else as an attachment but one of the most important times is when you suspect that an email maybe Spam. In these cases, it’s important that the whole message is sent to your IT support – using the normal forward option will not include all the information that is needed to investigate if the email is indeed Spam.
Please follow the instructions listed below if you receive an email that you suspect maybe Spam.
- Highlight the email in your Inbox and click More on the Home ribbon.
- Click Forward as Attachment.
This will create a blank email with the selected email included as an attachment.
- Enter a subject for the email and send the email.
