Word, Excel, and PowerPoint include a new feature that retains documents that you neglected to save when you closed them – this includes documents that were also saved with the name of ‘Document1’.
Office 2010 preserves the last automated backup of a document and lets you open it.Click File, Recent, Recover Unsaved Documents, and then choose the document from the standard File/Open dialog box.
