The quick analysis icon in Excel 2013 is used to preview how your data will look if you present it in different ways.
This icon is displayed at the bottom right of selected data.
The Quick Analysis icon displays 5 tools:

Format – shows the most useful Conditional Formatting options

Charts – shows the most popular chart options

Totals – shows some of the more basic calculations
-
Tables – shows some Pivot Table presentations for the selected data

Sparklines – mini charts in a cell
Hovering over any of the options for any of the 5 tools will show how the data will look if that option is selected, if you want to apply one of the options to your data click the option.
