When Word gets to the end of the current line and can’t fit any more of the text you’re typing onto that line it will move the remaining text onto the following line. However, there may be occasions when you need to keep words together on the same line – to do this press CTRL+SHIFT+SPACE between each of the words that you want to keep together. The text itself won’t look any different but a non breaking space will have been inserted between the words and anytime that Word can’t fit the words together on the same line it will move them all to the following line.
