The last few months have been very busy for Fusion as we have taken on a number of new and exciting projects whilst welcoming a new member of staff. Andrew Marsland started with us on December 1st and has fitted into the team perfectly.
Jamie Watson left the firm on Christmas Eve and is taking a working sabbatical which will include visiting various countries around the world. Jamie will return to Fusion later in the year.
Towards the end of January we will be installing a Windows 2008 server for a new client in Huddersfield. We have been running and testing the new operating system for some time now internally and we’re confident that our first live install will be a success.
We have also been testing a beta version of the new Windows 7 operating system. It is early days and we will post some articles with our thoughts in coming months.
One interesting project we have recently finished is the merger of 2 firms of Solicitors. One of the challenges was to merge 2 completely different case management systems into one, bringing across all manner of fields and information. I am pleased to say that the whole process was a success and the integration went better than expected.
With several new installations and office moves in the pipeline it is going to be a busy start to the year for Fusion.
